Purpose/Use/Notes:

Judy Peterson’s heads the College and Career Readiness Department and suggested it for approval. Tier 1 can be implemented with all students taking a Health or Freshman Success class; Tier 2 can be used with students identified in the MTSS process. The Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) focus of the program is meant to help students combat/replace self-defeating thoughts and behaviors with more constructive thoughts and behaviors--helping students recognize the control they have despite negative circumstances surrounding them.
