"ParentSquare is the premier fully unified product that engages every family with school communications and communications-based services—all the way from the district office to the classroom teacher, and all in one place." ParentSquare enables teachers, administrators and district office to text or email parents individually, from a web-based platform, or (optionally) an app. In addition to contacting families individually, you can send class posts, school newsletters, district bulletins, etc. Parents have the option to respond directly via text, use the web platform themselves, or download the app - whichever they prefer.

Purpose/Use/Notes:

Granite Park had a needs assessment completed February 2024 that showed that 79% of our school's parents prefer the school contact them via text. There is no easy way that currently exists for teachers to do this without either manually uploading class rosters to a third-party app, or compromising their privacy by using personal devices. ParentSquare would address this by providing a unified app that syncs with Focus in order to streamline parent communication at Granite Park.
