IXL is an internet based program where students can practice skills for language arts and social studies (one year of social studies free with a subscription). The software is found at IXL.com and can be used for free up to 5 questions a day or a free trial can be set up easily.

Purpose/Use/Notes:

The program has questions similar to those found on standardized testing that help students focus on key concepts. The practice questions are easy to use in conjunction to instruction, Utahcompose, and other materials already approved for use on our classes. The students also get guided instruction if they answer questions incorrectly including examples and quick ways to remember difficult concepts.
