Can we upgrade to 21 levels or do we need to stay with 18 levels? Info from Vendor: The Core5 Expanded (21-level) program will be supported on browser (Chromebook, Mac, PC) and iPad (iOS 10+) It will not be supported on the desktop installed version, iOS9 or earlier, Android app, or via the older 2.8 “Flash” URL.\ You can view the problematic login report for Granite SD here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1WR8XA89ZrbGeoEOVlfmc_KG5tXSUThhIx1lDKIwlV6Q/edit#gid=840700694 • It contains logins dating from March 1st to June 15th, 2019. • It contains IP addresses, the date, day of week and time of day, so schools and districts can determine whether the logins were at home or at school. • The times of day are US Eastern. • It contains classes so it can be determined in which classrooms the logins occurred for the ones that took place during the school day (blank classes means the student is not enrolled in a class). Here are the schools in Granite SD's site that show some student logins from devices which will not be compatible with the expanded version: • Hillsdale Elementary School - 17.16% of student logins this past spring were on iPads running iOS9 or on Android tablets. • David Gourley Elementary School - 13.16% of student logins this past spring were on iPads running iOS9, through the Flash link, or on Android tablets. • Cottonwood Elementary - 7.34% of student logins this past spring were on iPads running iOS9 or on Android tablets. • Roosevelt Elementary School - 3.57% of student logins this past spring were on iPads running iOS9 or on Android tablets. • Plymouth Elementary School - 3.00% of student logins this past spring were on iPads running iOS9 or on Android tablets. • William Penn Elementary School - 2.95% of student logins this past spring were on iPads running iOS9 or on Android tablets. • Vista Elementary School - 1.81% of student logins this past spring were on iPads running iOS9, through the Flash link, or on Android tablets. • Carl Sandburg Elem School - 1.58% of student logins this past spring were through the Flash link or on Android tablets. • Hunter Elementary School - 1.45% of student logins this past spring were on iPads running iOS9 or on Android tablets. • Oakridge Elementary School - 1.26% of student logins this past spring were on iPads running iOS9 or on Android tablets. • Philo T Farnsworth Elem School - 1.21% of student logins this past spring were on iPads running iOS9 or on Android tablets. Options/Next Steps: 1.) You are welcome to opt-in to the Expanded (21-level) scope and sequence if you determine that it meets your technology and timing needs. If you decide to opt-in, please keep in mind: • It will not be possible to return to the Classic (18-level) scope and sequence. • The Core5 Expanded (21-level) program will be supported on browser (Chromebook, Mac, PC) and iPad (iOS 10+) for school year 2019–20. It will not be supported on the desktop installed version, iOS9 or earlier, Android app, or via the older 2.8 “Flash” URL. • The migration is made at the district level with all schools being migrated to the Expanded version. All schools will need to meet the system requirements. You can read more about the Expanded version of Lexia Core5 Reading here https://www.lexialearning.com/whats-coming-lexia-core5-reading-fall-2019 I have also attached a resource that defines the system requirements for the Expanded version as well as the Classic version. I am happy to assist you with the opt-in process. We may want to schedule a call to review the problematic logins report. 2.) You may remain on the Classic 18 level scope & sequence
